Christine is among the most sought-after stylists/spokespersons/fitness fanatics in New York City! Her keen eye for detail gives her an undisputed edge in anticipating trends and pulling together just the right style elements. She can always create looks that define the mood of the moment, whether on TV, Instagram or her site, nycpretty.com. In teaming up with our designer, Katie Mae the two hit it off immediately. Both lovers of all the sparkly and magical things, the two began to brainstorm whimsical prints. After dreaming up and rendering rounds and rounds of fantastical prints and fairyland leggings, this was the winning print.
Since Christine lives in her activewear even when not at the gym (to keep up with her busy lifestyle) it was important to Christine to have a legging that could transition from day to night. They chose a deep purple base color and layered elements of glitter, stars and lights to create the legging of Christine’s dreams. Christine says: “These can be a main staple of your everyday wardrobe, like denim, knits, and bombers. That way you can rock 'em not just for a sweat-sesh, but also for bopping around town all day long. They also pair perfectly with a neutral top or sweater and booties for a night out with the girls! Soooo fun and super versatile—a major multi-tasker, just like me!”
These have been running and yoga tested and approved and the fitted high waist keeps everything tucked in and looking fab! Using a darker hue up top and keeping the print focused lower on the leg, makes it understated and easier to rock the fun pattern.
